Spring Conference 2017

The UK and Ireland Progress User Group Spring Conference was kindly hosted once again at the QAD offices on Wednesday 5th April 2017. We lined up a fantastic program of technical sessions with some very well respected speakers from the OpenEdge community. There were also two workshops.

The overall theme for the day was OpenEdge Modernisation, looking at some of the technical aspects, in particular REST, Web handlers, Kendo UI Builder, and diagnostic tools for performance improvements.

Speakers included Peter Judge of Progress, Paul Koufalis of White Star Software and Marko Rüterbories of ConsultingWerk, as well as technical experts from IAP and Pace IT.

We hosted a networking evening on Tuesday 4th April to extend the networking opportunities with speakers and fellow members before the conference.

It was a very informative day, with plenty of content for everyone.
